The Junkman’s Daughter Has Everything She Needs Tin cans trim her flowerbeds watered with upside-down milk jugs old pans mound with discarded dish-ware. Toward the back runs the grass-middled drive where her father left the old stove, parked his last Ford a neighbor needed its blue door. Last week she wheelbarrowed a yellow tailgate to the barn, red-brushed a sign, I might have something you need. The old tub sits off the back porch, for summertime soaks after pulling weeds in the wild garden of cress, lettuce, crookneck and herbs for the body, herbs for the pot. The meadows green and stream stays cold. She is not young she is not old she is in the middle of repurposing.
What beautiful pictures. You are the best.
