A stinkbug sits in the cereal bowl
I begin washing.
Any other insect would have been saved
except a roach, fly, or tick—
the undeserving.
It is not native, has appeared too many times unwanted.
A surprise when unrolling the bedroom shade and
smells of old celery if handled too much.
Today I decide what lives
in my sink.
Panick as it capsizes, pedaling air
but now I've started its execution.
Allow it
until I scoop it to the windowsill.

I'm on the edge of my seat for part 2 😄!
I rescue those little guys too. Out here in Colorado they smell like strawberries and bananas, I swear.
